I just finished my assignment covering the ICC Under-19 World Cup Cricket 2008 Malaysia at Royal Selangor Club Bukit Kiara today. As per my usual route from the venue I took the Kerinchi Link lah to get back to my Office aka Barebone Studio.
I like highways, it saved me a LOT of travelling time between point A to Point B.
The Annual toll increase doesn't bother me so as I just charged back to the Client lah. Or I take the Komuter train from Kajang to KL Sentral and I made sure that my appointment are within the vicinity of the KTM Komuter or the LRT lines. But sometimes I just can't avoid driving into the City. As much as possible, I take the highways and drive within the *ahem* speed limits. Speed traps cameras are everywhere and now the Authorities are using CCTV to catch speedsters? Better play it safe lah.
S the highway got my Vote then * *
What bothers me is that sometimes as soon as I paid the Toll I found myself get caught in massive traffic jams. Now that really ticked me off....

A workshop in February...
|

The details of the workshop are as follows:
Saturday: 2nd February 2008 - Flash Photography for Beginners - know your flash.
Venue: Bare Bone Studio, 12a-3, Jalan Impian Perdana, Saujana Impian, Kajang, Selangor
Time: 11 am - 5 pm
Material: A slide show of recent works and lighting arrangements, make your own notes
Miscellaneous: Light refreshment will be provided.
No restrictions on camera make, all are welcome as long as it is a DSLR.
Fees: RM350.00/USD100.00 per participant
Workshop overview:
-What is flash?
-Understanding your flash gun
-Fill flash technique
-Mix lighting with flash
-Multiple flash set up on a budget to emulate studio lighing effect
-Practical session with a model indoor
-Practical session with a model outdoor (weather permitting)
I shall cap the participants number to a maximum of 5 person only per workshop.
There is a RM50.00 rebate for previous workshop or model shoot participants.
College/university college student who presents a valid student ID card, will also entitled to a RM50.00 rebate. Limited to one student only.
Since this is a workshop about effective usage of your portable flash gun/strobe, PLEASE bring a external flash gun/portable strobe/flash and extra batteries to the workshop.
Take note:
There will be no refund of your fees if you pulls out for whatever reason. So get someone to replace you lah if you can't make it.
