A wedding in Johor, Part 2

A wedding couple, yesterday...
I don't do wedding much, (read my FAQ of sorts here), but at the occasional wedding assignment that I do accept I always do my best in providing wedding coverage. My style is a mixture of candids and formals with a 50-50 ratio between them.

Presenting Akmal & Kesuma, a lovely couple from Johor.

A tentative workshop as proposed by you...

A model, yesterday...
I was approached for a workshop where instead of using 'expensive' studio lighting systems which most photo enthusiast doesnt own, why not I teaches one were particpants just uses their Nikon's SB-800/600 as their light source(s)?

What a challenge. I have never teaches a workshop where everyone will exclusively using what they have, mainly, SB 800s & SB 600s

As I uses mainly system for my commercial work, the workshop is suitable for fellow Nikon user as you must have Nikon gear. My apologies in advance for the exclusion.

The Trooping of Colours......

At 8 am sharp, the King arrived @ Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square) as the clock tower chimes and the 21 gun salute went off. It was cloudy at times but as the ceremony progresses the sun emerges from behind the clouds

Silly me, when it was cloudy i had the Kelvin (thats colour temperature for you newbies) set @ 53000K. Uh oh, still blue-ish, I dont like. So I set it @ 5600K. Then the sun comes out and I didnt set it back to 5300K so some pictures got some wonky skin tones, So silly...

(Will edit the text as I load up all the pics )

All photos were taken with a 500mm Nikkors lens courtesy of Azmanshah.

One pic is posted here @ http://www.photomalaysia.com/photography/showphoto.php?photo=6353&nocache=1 for your 'tearing' pleasure
